Please feel free to read through our company policies regarding our business. All clients are given a copy of our policies to keep for their records. Any questions regarding our policies are welcome, and we will try and answer all of your questions.

Policy on Updates
Updates will be added to your website after they are sent to us. All monthly hosting fees include one hour of update time. Once this is exceeded you will be charged our hourly rate stated on our pricing and rates page.

You will be notified by us once we have received your content and new files. Your update will be uploaded within 48 hours of our receiving them. If we are unable to accomplish this in the above mentioned timeframe you will be notified.

If for any reason we are unable to accept updates for any lengthy amount of time due to server upgrades, vacation, or personal business, you will be notified immediately. We try to be available to serve our clients as much as possible.

Please remember that the first of the New Year is an extremely busy time for content updates of all websites. Updates should be sent well ahead of this time. We will send reminders at year-end.

Policy on File Transfer
Cardinal Web Services accepts files and information updates in both original (hard copy) and digital copies in the acceptable formats. You will be notified when we receive your information and when your site content has been uploaded. If you have sent files and receive no notification from us for 24 hours, assume it was not received and resend.

Acceptable formats
Media and information can be sent to us as a hard copy (photo prints, CD, or DVD) or as a digital copy through email or file sharing service. Acceptable file types are:

gif

bmp

Video:
avi
mpg
wmv
Text:
txt
html
php
doc
pdf
Files that are saved in inappropriate formats will have to be resent by you in the acceptable format. Hard Copy information can be sent to our mailing address. Digital copy information and files can be sent to us through our email address with instructions and content updates written clearly. Pictures and images can also be transferred through a file sharing account (Photobucket, Flickr).

Policy on Communication
Contact can be made via email, telephone, and through our mailing address. Meetings in person are also acceptable and greatly encouraged during the creation process.

All emails will be responded to within a 24 hour time frame. If your email is not responded to within this time frame, assume it was not received and resend. If communication still fails, please call our telephone number and speak to us directly about your problem.
